His positioning was fine there. First thing he has to do is position himself so the man with the ball doesn't have a shooting angle, which he did. Up to the defenders to cut out the cross.

If he had positioned himself in the center of the goal to anticipate the cross and Daniels had put it in near post, then it would be worth criticizing.

Perfect, right where he should be.

How about a wee bit closer to the centre because he has the near post covered, but leaves the entire goal gaping if the winger decides to cross it in. Being more central would allow him to position himself better for the header and he'd surely be able to keep out a shot if the winger goes for one.

Galloway not marking Stanislas doesn't help either, like.

You're being a tad saucy today.;)

Sounds like you want him to do what he did against Kolarov.

Dan Howard did nothing wrong today, stop being silly about this.

What about the cross he was nowhere near just after our 2nd goal and stones had to clear off the line

I want Howard gone but I haven't seen the goals today so I'm not blaming him
I saw the above clip on Twitter

But what I would say is when ever we come under a long spell of pressure like today we always concede
Even under Moyes who was ultra negative trying to hold on to leads especially away from home

But I fear the players don't trust him there was a pic going round after one of his blunders this season of stones turning away in disgust
If looks could kill

And this is the big issue for me the players know he won't command/dominate his area and they know he's never pulling out a worldie to win us a game
