The problem with conspiracy theories is that those who choose to believe them pick and choose pieces of evidence and then make them ' fit ' into their already pre determined conclusion, which in this case is that the Bush administration were evil warmongers who would do anything, including the mass murder of it's own citizens, in order to gain a foothold in the middle east.
The same people will dismiss out of hand thousands of eye witness reports and fully investigated facts as part of a wider government led 'cover up' which would have to involve literally tens of thousands of people.
Time and time again, when faced with cold hard facts they still swerve these facts with pure bluster:

Believer: They demolished the twin towers with thermite.
Official: We have proved thermite cannot burn through steel.
Believer: Well it's not ordinary thermite it's ultra secret military super thermite.

And so it goes on and on. The fact is there are many people who always think there is 'more to it' than what actually there is.

If all you read about and listen to are conspiracy theories, then it stands to reason that's all you'll believe.

No mate THAT IS NOT TRUE . I dint take much notice of a socalled conspiracy theory until I heard the frankly pathetic retort from the Goverment controlled inquiry . When you listen and study carefully their answers it frankly impossible NOT start to seriously question what you are being told . DO YOUR HOMEWORK . Learn the facts of the matter before you make such sweeping statements

"Well, it's a well known fact, Sonny Jim, that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows.

So who's in this Pentavirate?

The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee *beady* eyes, and that smug look on his face. "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"

Dad, how can you hate "The Colonel"?

Because he puts an addictive chemical in his chicken that makes ya crave it fortnightly, smartass!"

Why aren't all you consipracists talking about these guys - they are obviously responsible.

Get a grip, kids.

straightner ?

It wasnt directed in your direction, but seems tho you have taken it upon oneself to portray the classic internet hardman persona, I will gratefully accept the aforementioned request to air 1s problems and possibly engage in some sort of fight.

If you would be so kind as to name the venue and the starting time I will show myself and smash your frigging cake in lerd.

I dont think the U.S Goverment did it all . I do however believe wholeheartedly that they know a hell of alot more about what was planned for that fateful day than they let on , I mean its understandable if youve got a war to fight right ? . I believe they played and manipulated those involved to gleam an outcome that suited everybody .

If they want to shut up people like me and thousands and thousands like me why not give everyone the enquiry we want and the victims familes deserve . There are way too many anomiles present not to ask a million and one questions

Sorry, I don't see the feds trying to keep you under a rock. Pull out your soapbox, find a street corner and spout off. It's all good.

You can't get all touchy when others poop on your theories. That's the beauty of the First Amendment - everyone gets to speak their peace.

Go down to Dealey Plaza in Dallas - on any given day, there are no less than 10 different persons down their espousing their JFK assassination theories, pitching their books and tapes. Don't see the Feds shooing them off.

By the way, who's we in the enquiry demand group. Have a friend in the FBI who'd love to meet you guys.

Away from who did what and who didn't do this and that on 9/11, for people to dismiss large scale deceptions that change the course of history as the product of mad, bulging eyed conspiracy theorists are barking themselves. It has happened. Did it happen on 9/11? Who knows.

The fact that so many questions do remain unanswered is a worry, especially when the people who want to answer them get ridiculed for wanting to ask them.

Just looking at the surface of the event, poorly trained terrorists expertly crash 747 jumbo jets into three targets in the most militarily advanced country in history, two of which collapse within a few hours and one of which remains relatively unscathed.

Of all the jets and missiles you have in America, not one of them was deployed?

Either you should be asking serious questions about the trillions of dollars you spend on your military and you cant even stop that, or maybe just a little deeper into the whole affair. Maybe you should get your FBI buddy to do some Q&A on here, I'd love to ask him some questions, ChicagoT

Could you elaborate a bit further on these world changing conspiracies and do any of them involve mass murder ?

Your probably too young to remember World War 2, but there was this guy called Hitler, and he totally convinced all his people that Jews were like, totally bad and stuff.

I don't believe that the guys who flew the planes were poorly trained. I don't think they were experts either but a little simulation practice could probably get you up to speed on how to keep a 777 in the air. I've never flown a helicopter but I'd be willing to bet that after a couple runs in a simulator, I could get one off the ground and tool it around a bit.

If you haven't noticed, our trillions of dollars are being spent in Afghanistan and Iraq. Americans aren't trained (and don't have a history to rely on) to be on alert domestically. Of all of the contingencies, using 777's as bombs wasn't probably very high on the scenario list. We don't even use armed guards at our airports - the sight of seeing soldiers on patrol with automatic weapons would scare the pants of most Americans. The rest of the world is used to it - we're not.

You get ridiculed because some of the theories advanced are utterly ridiculous - the one that there were no planes, but actually missiles shrouded in holograms is a favorite. Seriously, who comes up with this crap?

Demand your answers. Ask your questions. But seriously, passing off what you can't prove as gospel isn't the solution.
