He does so much work for the team unseen.Could've gone for that tackle, not the same player this season. I'd be looking to upgrade in summer.

Him an besic next season and that will do me
I was pmsl at his comment "Well if Payet goes off injured McCarthy should have to go off too. I know it's not the rules, but I think he should"The tackle was a yellow, Gayle commentating was going overboard with his bias wanting a red. It was great to see him press the ball, he was sharper in his game and although he's not a creative player he passed the ball with conviction. The opposition midfield knew we were there today - at last! I'm convinced Payet wasn't injured just didn't fancy it.
More of the same please James, especially at home!

No difference to his tackle on Payet to Dier's on Cleverley IMO
The tackle was great....fixed it for ya.Actually thought he had a really good game today. The tackle was bad, but a red would've been harsh IMO.
I also think that we've needed a bit more grit in midfield of late, so I'm happy if he's going to start showing a bit more.
to be fair he gets virtually no stick from fans. I sometimes knock him on here simply because it seems 95% of our fans think he's roy Keane mk2 and I disagree. I don't think I've ever heard him get called out a game, and most stuff on social media claims he's under rated (not sure who by). Some more good quick forward balls today. Getting far too much stick from fans
