Bryan Oviedo

love that pic. love Ovie being so fired up. Stones still looks like a man in prison, desparately awaiting parole to Chelski... truly he looks so miserable that Morrissey looks well adjusted by comparison.

barry's been playing well this season, better than mccarthy. would like to see oviedo play though. Don't really think we should be forcing galloway into the midfield, he'll end up a CB
No doubt better than McCarthy (been the first to say he's been awful this season) but I just want to see a shake up of the middle of the park. We need players that can and aren't afraid to get the ball and turn to move our play forward.

Was made up for him last night, he nearly hit the heights of the Oviedo before his injury.

You can just tell that he is doing everything he can to make that LB spot his own. I'd start him against Sunderland.

Galloway has been class and there's no way he should be dropped.

The calls for him to start over Galloway (probably our player of the season to date) are just another sign of how reactionary people have become on here.

Oviedo is an actual left back and gives more in an attacking sense.

Galloway is out of position, sometimes looks lost in the final third, but excellent defensively.

I'd keep Galloway in the starting 11 out of merit given his form, but objectively I'd go for Oviedo.

Really don't see how you can say he gives more in an attacking sense, there seems a common misconception that Galloway doesn't get forward for some reason but he's often on the over lap when we break and several times he's been n good scoring positions. I can only assume people ignore it because they've read he's a centreback and can't equate the two.

Like I said he's probably been our best player to date regardless of age, experience or position and there's no way he should be dropped. Certainly not until our best left back is back and fully fit anyway.
