This situation is what's peed me off most during Martinez's reign.

I don't think he will either mate ( play him against Sunderland ), this evening is the first time Martinez has had a bit of a go at him.publicly ( about the 2nd goal ).

I'm banking on Joel to have a good game Tuesday, be solid and I think he will be given the shirt against Sunderland.

Martinez has shown unwavering faith to certain players who haven't repaid that faith. Time that Bobby started thinking about his own job and making some much needed changes.

This is heading towards a Phil Neville scenario and the hatred towards him towards the end. People will justify today by the fact we lost to a good team, he does this at home to a Sunderland and the like and it costs us a win and the atmosphere will be awful. In fact people have already been jeering him when he catches a ball at home this season. It's up to the manager to take him out the firing line now and see if Robles can cut it.

As I've said before, the big problem is that it's nearly impossible to sign a first team keeper in January, so our options this season are Howard and Robles. No doubt Howard had a terrible match today, and I'd be all for dropping him if (and only if) Robles actually plays well against Norwich. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for that, though.

Stones gave him a right mouthful after the first goal today. Not that Stones was entirely blameless in the short passing pissing about that was going on in the first half.

He's a joke. It's only "scapegoating" if you're making out like he's to blame when there's no obvious evidence to show it. With Howard, it's plain he's the problem.

I just said he was poor mate. Barry and Naismith are slaughtered as scapegoats often as well which I don't agree with. I don't have zany scottish pride driving me to defend naismith do i?

We won't progress past mid table with him in goal my man. Has to go. Cost us a good 10 goals this season alone.
Demoralising for the rest of the team surely to have a weak keeper.
We all deserve better.

if you check my post's I said GK needs to get looked at in one of the windows. Just don't think Robles is an improvement. He's been terrible in the cup games.
