ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

No wins against 2 winnable sides. Kazan are awful and haven't won in Europe all season so far. That was an absolute God Send for him. Captain and best player sent off half way through the first half. Score off eh resulting free kick.

Owen Hargreaves was right, they didn't look like scoring.

He is fobbing people off that he was 98% of the way there. If he really believes that and thinks they only need to add 2% on that then they are in serious trouble.

It's becoming very clear to me now. This fella hasn't got a clue how to get the best out of people in an attacking sense. He's got a flukey goal from a set piece in the immediate aftermath of them going down to ten men. Had that been 2 minutes later they'd have sorted who they were marking out.

It is 2 games in and he has yet to score a goal from open play. I don't think he has any ideas how to score goals or be creative. It is all about his pressing defensive game. This just reminds me of Moyes Mk 2.
I think it's early days for him, but right now he looks like a man who's made the biggest mistake of his career.

He'll have loads of cash, sure. But I have a feeling his game won't travel well from Germany to England. I can't see a game that emphasises hard work is getting anything more than a top 6 finish. We'll see.

If you ignored the fact it was the RS...

This expectation is ridiculous considering it's his second game in charge. Mcmanaman on BT Sport nearly having a heart attack ranting about how it's not good enough and they need to step up.

I actually feel sorry for Klopp in a way...but then again I don't because he's embraced their weird obsession with making managers/good players some kind of messiah.

Well I feel sorry for Klopp too, but he has built it up too with his nonsensical talking of delivering titles in his 4 years. The fact some of them were discussing winning the league this season is baffling.

I wouldn't say I hate Klopp. I genuinely pitied Rodgers who was a pathetic man. I just think Klopp is a complete in utter fraud and is going to be found out big time.

The side in 10th in the EPL manages to draw at home with the side that is 12th in the Russian League............the excitement is overwhelming.......

I think the side we seen tonight won't be the same side in about 12 months time if he gets given that time and money.

I said to my Kopite loving missus the day he signed, "you might want to lower your expectations because you can't polish a turd and that's what your team is".

I'm not sure he's a fraud, I'm not sure he's the 2nd coming. His record is patchy but it's got titles ( and it's got relegations as well ).

What I do know is that they are an abysmal side, a very unbalanced squad, nowhere near CL standard and a million miles away from the title.

Let the stupid beauts big themselves up because the odds are stacked against him and them doing anything of note.

Well I am starting to think he swerved a top job knowing he was well out of his league.

Whereas with Liverpool he gets a free pass this season. Transition season next season and then probably a third season to get binned off.

I know what I see. If he continues along this route he will not be successful. The era of the Moyes style coaching has been found out. I think his 98% comment is very telling tonight. They pressed the ball well but were clueless offensively. I think it gives an insight into his mindset. 98% of the game is about how you defend without the ball.

I agree with what you're saying about the 4 year thing. Every one of them I asked agreed that it was realistic.

Whether he is a fraud and will be found out big time...well, only time will tell. I neither like him nor hate him personally. I just think at any other club he would be given more than two games to get his tactics right and the players playing the way he wants them to.

I think it says a lot about that club when the new manager has supposedly been appointed without actually meeting with the owners. That's just stupid.

Well yes but he still has millions of pounds worth of talent in that team, He also has players he says he tried to sign (like Origi). He is not organising them well at all.

He's jumped at Liverpool when Bayern wouldn't budge on an assurance on him succeeding Guardiola.

I believe it's all a bit 'coals to Newcastle' this 'full throttle' stuff. It had an impact on the Bundesliga when that league was a lot more one paced than it is today after his Dortmund team had a big effect. However, England is the home of all action 100 mph footy and he's coming into a crowded market.

I can well imagine Liverpool went for Ancelotti. They'd have been better off making him a massive offer and one he couldn't refuse.
