Klopp is a good manager, and I'm sad he's gone to Liverpool. I think he will do a good job for them. It is worth putting a few caveats around that
However Liverpool's squad right now is a mess, much like Spurs was at the end of last year. It has a mixture of new-age dribbly CBs (Sakho) with no-nonsense orcs (Skrtel) a midfield with one winger (Ibe, who has gone backwards) a lot of engineroom runners, a surfeit of luxury playmakers and strikers parked out on the wings. This isn't including a lot of people on loan.
First thing he'll have to do is get rid of a lot of players, which will take time - took Spurs ages to get rid of Chiriches, Adebayor, Assou-Ekkoto, Paulinho, Soldado, Naughton, Stambouli etc etc - and work out which ones will fit his system. Unlike Spurs Liverpool's academy is half-baked at best with only a few players coming through. There are easily 10 players who need to be moved on (Lovren, Ilori, Balotelli, Lallana, Allen, Markovic, Enrique, Toure, Flanagan who is perma crocked, Origi etc.)
Klopp's team also typically work with heavy pressing and quick counter attacks. This was relatively novel when it was first introduced in 2008-12 but is standard now for mid-table teams who want a result away (Palace, West Ham, even Leicester). So teams will know what to do when facing it. Also, are you going to have Sturridge doing heavy pressing? It's physically intense which could mean more injuries to a team. When bringing in new players Klopp has always worked with a director of football who he will not have the same link to.
He's a good manager but expectations are very high and all the environment that was set up for him in Dortmund does not exist now. It's a totally different situation and I think success will need 2-3 years and he'll probably lose Coutinho this year as well to Barca
