Maybe time for another twist. I would't rule out Bayern still being in there trying to wreck it.

If it doesn't happen today it's in major doubt.

Recken Bayern talks fell through, due to pep not leaving next summer which left klopp in nowhere landmand wasn't prepared to wait 18 months for the gig. Rumours coming out that pep will take over city but the question is when. City and Munich need to move quickly but its seems that the rs were quicker

If Guardiola wants the City job, he has it. Klopp would be a fool to go to Liverpool when he has a great chance of the biggest job in German football.

Jürgen Klopp (48) is facing the signing of the contract at Liverpool. It's all about a few details that Klopp today wants with consultant Marc Kosicke (44) clarify in England.

If all goes well, he signs at lunchtime a three-year contract. Tomorrow eleven German time clock he is as the new coach of the Reds will be presented. Annual salary: around 10 million euros!

However, it only works with the contract if Klopp is compatible with two others.

After image information Liverpool insists that Klopp cooperates with the existing co-coaches Sean O'Driscoll (58) and Gary McAllister (50). They were confidants of ex-coach Brendan Rodgers (42) and conduct since his release on 4 October the training.

Problem for Liverpool: Klopp's only hat-trick with his own two assistant coaches Zeljko Buvac (54) and video analyst Peter Krawietz (43). With Buvac, which is also known as "the brain", combines Klopp since 1992 a close friendship.

Another Klopp condition: He wants a say as in Dortmund at the signing of new items and rejects the Liverpool "Transfer Council", when making purchases of previously had the last word.

England's mighty hot in Klopp! After image information he had from Tottenham Hotspur an offer. Klopp refused. Also for emotional reasons. He is huge Liverpool fan since his early childhood.

Brisant: Klopp's first game as Liverpool manager would on 17 October - against Tottenham Hotspur.

Seems this 'life long' Kopite actually wants the Manu job.

"But Krautzun believes Klopp, who won two Bundesliga titles and reached the 2013 Champions League final with Dortmund, will be keen to throw his hat into the ring when Van Gaal does step down.

He told Goal: "Jurgen speaks English.

"And since we spoke about United. He once told me, that one day, when it does not fit with Dortmund any more, Manchester United would be his club.

"But at this moment the job is taken. Klopp would fit perfectly to an English club that is well lead and well organised".

If Guardiola wants the City job, he has it. Klopp would be a fool to go to Liverpool when he has a great chance of the biggest job in German football.

It's strange that he going to a club who sells their best players, go through managers quickly, impatient fans, risky move for klopp

I think Liverpool turned to him after Ancelotti turned them down too.

For Klopp it has to be about a cash pay day and a parking of his ambitions to win stuff until the Bayern job becomes available. If he can show Rummenigge et al that his magic is back again and the Dortmund years before the collapse is recoverable he may be summoned back to Germany.

Win win for him. If he revived Liverpool he's reconfirmed himself as one of the top bosses in Europe. If he doesn't that place is poisonous enough to walk away blemish free and blame it on FSG. Kopite logic couldn't possibly say that Kenny and Klopp are both bad managers. He could just quit whenever he wanted and has a big enough name that everyone else would be scapegoated. Meanwhile he's undoubtedly getting paid a fortune and staying warm for United or Bayern.

Well he can:

Take the job, get nowhere in particular 6 months and go back on his hols at the end of the season with his record unblemished.
Do well, and move to Bayern soon enough.

or just turn em down..

Ha Ha Ha. I'd PMSL if it fell through over that.

I get the feeling there's some late excuses being lined up here.

One "ITK" knob who I come into contact with re LFC told me that McCallister and O'Driscoll had gone too. The guy's a buffoon and tried telling me on Sunday night that he had been told Friday Rodgers had gone, but didn't want to leak it as it would be unfair on Rodgers pre Sunday.

I don't believe him. I think he was being brave with gobbing off about the other two who were from "the same source". Suffice to say if they stay given that he told me they'd been sacked at the same time as Rodgers I am going to enjoy telling him what a bellend he is.

On the other hand I can't stand "Gary Mac". I would love nothing more than seeing him booted out when he obviously felt he was going to be able to be Caretaker for a bit and make a pitch for a job himself. It would be amazing to see him booted out and treated like dirt by the new fella. Booted out after 3 months and all that. So it's a win win for me.

he'll do well there, just have the feeling he won't be a flop like the last couple who i had no doubts would be a flop.

the thing i don't get is asking hamman about about the club. Why do managers/players always ask for recommendations from people who are obviously only going to have nice words to say. You always hear it, he'd be better off asking an e.g. el hadji diouf and ask what the bad points are for a counter balance.

nothing to do with the RS, i just wonder why all people do this when moving abroad.
