The fire rises
I saw Osman laser penning Howard when the corner came in, the lad had no chance.
Absolute snake.

Suspect at crosses. Suspect at long shots. Irrational decision making. Lack of leadership. Poor kicker. Poor distribution.
You disagree?
Sorry, I've stuck up for him in the past but it's getting silly now, he can make decent saves from shots but the star fish and the fact that players can score from 4 yards out when all he had to do was step out and catch it.
This, completely. If Howard won't/can't come off his line then we need to stick someone on the back post. Completely shambolic defending today for their goal.
You disagree?
I think its terrible . Emphasised massively today when he throws out a suicide pass to galloway who has to dribble it out.
The set piece situation really puts us under pressure because we ain't always going to get away with poor marking/goalkeeping like we have against West Brom and Liverpool.
Ross looks really poor at marking in the box and always has and that's why your older heads aka Howard need to be alert. There's a pic of their goal and Howard should be ashamed as a keeper that from about 3.5 yards a striker ( who isn't the tallest and looks like his head is trying to hibernate into his own body like a tortoise for some reason ) can pop a header in. He should have been absolutely taken out fairly and squarely because that's what dominating keepers do
We say the same things over and over esk, Martinez loves him though as proved by bringing him straight back in when last season was the perfect opportunity to phase him out.
Amen...Doesn't really matter what we think of Howard...Martinez thinks he's one of the best in the business
Yep totally agree. I was thinking earlier if Kone had been on the pitch we might not have conceded, he's decent at defending corners, but at the end of the day Howard should have clattered Ross and Ings whether he got the ball or not. The size of Howard, he should be all over them.
