Everton Youth Teams Thread

Cheers for that sb, a great win for them and it looks like we played a strong team with Davies, Walsh, Evans starting i.e all played u21 s. Donohue scored again he seems to do well for u18s , but dont think hes been tried at u21 level. From reading the report it sounds like we fully deserved the win. We sometimes forget that the guys we mention like the four above are still eligible for u18.

City on 20 points from 9 games, we have 16 from 7 , probably 2nd depending on other results. This was the team by the way. Very [poor reporting from OS these days for u18 matches.

He's played a few times for the u21s, good prospect on the wing

He had a scoring spree for the u21s pre season which caught people's attention. There has been much debate about Roberto's enigmatic statement about a young player they think will develop into the no10 he's seeking, many think he was referring to Evans, just turned 17 so very early days yet.

Impressed with Danny Bramall, had a lot of luck down the left. Donahue on the other flank put in a good shift too.

Thought Evans played ok, reads the game well enough and finds pockets of space.

Walsh and Davies in midfield was a good combo today, hassled and probed well and nullified City's midfield.

Great win against a strong city team the u16 got a bit of a thumping though

Finished 7-1 for the u16s v Everton.city think there u16 might be there golden generation

ah cumon, they can't win the lottery and then just as we possibly bring through a golden generation to try and compete with the financial big boys, they go and produce their own to go with their bottomless pit of cash. I'm guessing they'd have invested money in a few foreigners? or can you not do that at that age?
