His distribution is just about the worst thing my eyes have ever witnessed. He has absolutely no awareness of when you should play a short goal kick and when you shouldn't. But then when he tries to lump it forward it barely reaches the half way line
 

The first goal came from two mistakes by Funes Mori and Barry.
The second goal came from defenders losing their markers.
I couldn't see how TH could be faulted for either.
 
He's still gash.
Mori and Barry caused the chance for the goal but if Howard hadn't been on his back foot he'd have probably gotten to it before Berahino.
He was pathetic last season, and although he has been better this, we should definitely be looking to move him on as soon as possible. Cannot understand anyone who think's he is good enough for a team that is aiming for european spots.

The reason he'll be doing the star jump is that he'll be trying to make himself as big as possible cover as goal as he can. Statistically this is probably a better tactic than trying to decide where the shot is going and filling that gap as Strikers these days aren't as predictable as they used to be.

It could also be that his main problem isn't actually the 'Goalkeeping' aspect but reading the attackers intentions in which case again, the star jumps is probably the best way of trying to cover as many options as possible. Perhaps a few sessions with a body language expert might help him be more confident when reading a striker?

few sessions? he's bloody 37 - he's got this old without realising the flaws, there's no point in learning now. just everything he does seems odd. i actually tense up every time the ball is passed back to him because i don't trust him. even if there's no defender in sight. he slices another two out for a throw in last night as well as nearly getting tackled about 3 yards out.

i get what you say about his star technique, but he jumps up and creates more gaps, schmeichel would bend the knees a bit to make his frame bigger. for their first last night he ran out to cut down the angle, then dived to the side so the ball hit his leg and bobbled into the goal instead of possibly going straight into his mid-rift.

i don't like how his supporters' arguments are "it was someone else's fault so can't be tim's". he's the last line of defence to clean up when someone else makes a mistake. yes, other people are at fault for goals - doesn't mean he's then not at fault.

TJ , using that logic every goalkeeper is responsible for every goal, so they are all rubbish.

Tim stuck on his line yet again. Irrespective of the defenders a free header 3yrds out absolutely no excuse Tims fault yet again ffs hes shi£e.
