If I was a manager I'd be very reluctant to take over there, very average squad,no big names to sell and generate money, players
that you would struggle to sell,a demanding and deluded fanbase, and a constant media spotlight on you due to the infestation of RS
pundits and reporters

I was watching Football World on BT Sports earlier, and some uninitiated Italian journalist looked genuinely bemused when they asked him about the possibility of Ancelotti taking over at Liverpool. His response was something along the lines of:

'Why would he want to? You have just said they're in a mess, and he wouldn't put up with that at a mid-table club.'

Shaka Hislop looked like he'd seen a ghost.

Yup, it's not the players, it's delusion and thoroughly disproportionate weight of expectation that should have then avoiding this job like the plague.

Looked like Martinez got it right, said at the time, something didn't seem right.

managers don't see them like we do though. well maybe last few years they have a bit considering the people that have turned them down

this is a team who got £15m for carrol, £8m for borini and £49m for sterling despite him not even bothering with training, as well as £50m from torres who had been off form for over a year.

they're the flukiest thing on this planet and that stretches past just on the footy field. they don't have sellable assets but they'll still get obscene amounts of money from them based purely on
a) the amount they spent in the first place
b) their biased influence in the media overrating anything that moves
