I'm not pointing fingers, but it feels a little like they were banned because other users were annoyed by their views. But if they're not being willfully offensive, surely some blame lies with those of us who chose to constantly take umbrage with their views and keep their cyclical arguments going? I'm no fan of Adversus, but was he really that un-moderatable? Wouldn't want the forum to become colorless.

Adversus didn't bother me in the slightest probably because I swerved the transfer thread all summer. At least he had views, even if they were a tad wacky.

Damon on the other hand, while not being insulting, is the most tiresome, monotonous, opinionless poster there could be, cluttering up thread after thread with his repetitive one-message drivel, which gets on everyone's tits. And then there was his fawning habit of tagging Davek on every non-Naismith post in a sycophantic plea for approval.

It was only a matter of time. He'll be back soon under Damo Mk5 with another user name having promised to the moderating team that he will behave himself this time. And it will only be a matter of time before the same thing happens again.
