I would imagine he would be on decent money, I think given his age you would assume 3 years, 4 would be maybe too much, but hes a fit lad so whos to say he wont still be useful at 35.

Looks as though we've tested the water with Taylor and Luisao and Distin turned out to be the only proven Premiership defender we could bring in for a reasonable enough fee.

Since when does Moyes pay that type of money for players with no resale value?....

I dont know mate, he's been buying younger players of late with an eye on the future but sometimes you got to go for the right now.

Being in Europe and wanting to do well in the league, plus the fact importantly he's left footed - its a good deal.

And we still got money to spend.
