Computer games.

Right, Darksiders I&II on sale (80% off) on the Humble Store. $11.99 for me. Worth it?

I played through the first game and just a bit of the second - I'd say they're pretty good if you're into hack & slashes. It's not my favourite genre, but I found the scenery etc (at the time, mind) really good, so that helped. Story was a bit meh at times in the first one though, imo. Nothing awful, but I'd say a 6/10...

You'd probably play through them both once and never touch them again, so $12 is pretty good really...

lol lol lol

Do you like the Batman games?

Because it's pretty much Batman: Arkham Knight in Australia. As in, a complete reskin.

Basically 'Batman Dundee'.

Did you watch the footage of nerds playing it at PAX? It was horribly broken and it's due to release next week? Another Warner Bros classic.

Its out now. Early reviews are very good. Lots of people saying it is very well optimized.

It works. I mean it works from the very first minute. It is quite an accomplishment for an AAA title these days, right?
1. OPTIMIZED to the Max
2. Graphics to the Max
3. Open world to the Max
4. Do what ever you want to the Max
5. 10/10 to the Max
6. Wreck People and scrub them... to the Max
Mad Max is a fantastic open world game. While I've only spent a short while in it, I can say that it's brilliantly optimised (hitting around 100fps on a GTX 980 and i5 4670). Combat is fluid, the game is a lot of fun, and very Arkham/Mordor-esque in its execution - if you enjoy that sort of game, this is much of the same, with a similar fighting system
the only game published by Warner Bros in 2015 that wasn’t broken at launch.
joking aside, first impressions are good. game runs well, really well, and looks great. a third person, slightly better looking RAGE, with combat taken from a Batman game. oh, and you have a pet dog.

WB are the biggest frauds in computer games going.

It'll be broken at launch and just not working.

Mad Max looks ace.

A lot of user reviews I've read are having a go at the professional ones for being really nitpicky. Looks like a really fun and expansive open world game.
