John Stones transfer saga

He walked off a bit sheepishly tonight but, fair play to the lad, though he went straight towards the polytunnel rather than coming directly to us, he looked us in the eye and clapped us.

I've said before that after the awful performance at the Britannia last season he ( and Lennon ) were pretty much the only ones who came to clap us, for which they got a bit of abuse at first, but most people appreciate the effort so that quickly turned to applause.

His emotions are probably all over the show at the moment, but there's a very strong character at the heart of all that.

Areta moyes and i believe elstone have all confirmed it was to appease the banks, in the preceading years

I know. However, Arteta wanted to leave. Moyes managed it perfectly. You know, He could have sold Jags and Baines and brought far more money in.

He was given a budget to manage, and he had the final say in who left and who stayed.

I know you're a sound lid, you don't honestly believe that Arsenal made their first enquiry an hour before the window closed?

video doing the rounds on twitter of some lad shouting at him calling him a rat, looks him right in the eye and looks gutted.

And happen our sympathies should be with those unfortunates living in the war zone rather than with a young man who has everything going for him.

Wait, didn't see this, did you just say we shouldn't give a toss about Stones because there's people dying in war zones?

What kind of logic is that? People are dying all over the world, people have problems all over the world.

But this is the John Stones thread on an Everton football forum. This is where we care about that particular topic.

It'd be very judgemental to say that we don't have sympathies in more than one place.

After seeing chelsea fans act like spoilt biffs all summer I can quite honestly say beating them in 2 weeks time would feel like a derby win. I honestly want a "welcome to hell" atmosphere for that lot, I want 40,000 evertonians singing F OFF MOURINHO

Agreed

I want coins lobbed at that square headed womaniser scum Terry and his little puppet Cahill, make them terrified to be on the ball .

Way too far.
You've had a good run on this ID but the above comment will shortly see you consigned to history
