John Stones transfer saga

I'm sick of all the media assuming just because he has put in a transfer request Everton have to simply roll over now. £34 is nowehere near the right value in today's market for a future England captain.

Yes I agree with most on here its unfortunately inevitable that he will leave now but the price still has to be right for us. Personally I would tell him its too late in the window for find a suitable replacement an make him stay. He might sulk for a week or 2 but he would have to get his head back on if he wants to go the Euros at the end of the season.

The muted reaplacements (evans, fazio, etc) do nothing to inspire any confidence, this is starting to feel like a complete shambles the club need to speak out and tell the fans whats going on.

If he felt this way, then why did he sign a five year contract with Everton last year?
He will be taking advise from somebody somewhere, who doesn't follow Everton I would guess.
I'm not happy about it, just not going to let it eat me up!
For those who know me on here, I have been saying for ages that the lad is a proper player. That is what makes it hurt more.

They are they will leave it to Martinez tonight on sky.

I honestly do not know how to take the club anymore if they leave it Martinez later on... honestly, the word shithouses doesnt come to mind.

Man up, make a statement, sell the lad - just [Poor language removed] sort something out instead of dragging it on and losing time in the window.

ok, I may have missed something but is it possible that what happened yesterday was the press revealing that Stones had talks about going to Chelsea a week or so ago and was told he would be staying. He accepted it and has knuckled down. That this is now agitation maybe from his agent who was sitting on this. If so, definitely nothing changes, Stones plays v Spurs. His future is discussed again next summer.
