Correct. IIRR there was a recall of ford mavericks in the US a few years back because the cruise control was faulty & made the accelerator stick or made the car accelerate wildy. Ford knew about that but stuck down on it for something like 10 YEARS before they recalled them.

Am involved in a similar situation over a hip implant I had, google de puy ASR recall. Thing went bad on me muscle went necrotic, metallosis, new implant, de puy knew it was faulty but still issued it for a further 5 years iirc, I'm by no means in the worst case bracket, but the metallosis stuff is scarey and they dont even recognise it in the claims and suits going on worldwide.

Just got a recall letter, like with cars, landing on the mat 2 1/2 years after the op, it had been iffy 6 months after implant. Feckers.

Eek! Ow! Sorry to hear that mate! I remember some professor or other a few years ago warning of the danger of them alloy hip replacements, saying in some cases they were not just failing but shattering!

It's worse when it's a necessary operation to improve quality of life, rather than for cosmetic reasons.......I'm just glad I didn't get that boob job I wanted

Seriously though, with the metallosis, in some ways it's like the compensation for the ex-miners who got pneumonoconiosis (sp?) The Govt have stuck down in a lot of cases & waited for the poor sods to pop their clogs so they can save paying out.

True, I'm a long way from worst case as I say, but a friend I know, his dad has got asbestosis, no compensation because they 'can't say for certain that will be cause of death', same mentality. Strange it all links in to the TTIP too.

Not keen on the way that video appears to be attempting to justify Adolf Hitler's voiceover. Maybe I interpreted it wrongly.

I always think it's odd the way it's always called "the truth" even though often in these videos, no content is factual.

He's the wealthiest of the family, so unless there are 100,000 family members who all have 5 billion dollars, I think its a "conspiracy"
