However, Spartak manager Valery Karpin told Sport Express that he knew nothing about any deal.

"I only found out about this in the Internet, and I was very surprised," said Karpin, who is also club chairman. "There hasn't even been a hint of talks."


I guess he cant sack himself.
 
The Newcastle manager said exactly the same thing about Taylor, in that he knew nothing about it, yet Everton have officially declared their interest accordng to SSN.
It may be that Moyes has asked clubs to say nothing about our targets.

just found this on nsno dont know why when they (his club) say they dont know of any bid for the player from everton.

Rumours are emerging that Vladimir Bystrov is poised to sign for Everton.

Sources close to the club are, apparently, hinting that manager David Moyes is 'very hopeful' of completing the deal to bring the Russian winger to Goodison Park.

Bystrov has made 98 league appearances from his current club, Spartak Moscow, over the last four years and has also weighed in with 17 league goals in that time. He has also played at international level, scoring 4 goals in 24 appearance for the senior side.

The right sided winger is reknowned for his blistering pace in the Russian league and it is hoped that this particular attribute will add another dimension to Everton's attacking options....discuss

Laughable really.

By the time the rest of our team catch up with him he will of been able to enjoy a nice mid match cuppa and a jaffa cake.
