Absolute perfect player for Everton and could be the final piece in that starting 11 that push us on to have a genuine Crack at breaking into a CL spot. I honestly believe that. Sure we still need depth in the squad but that could come.

For me this lad would be the best signing at the club since Kanchelskis, even surpassing that. Tremendous player who ticks an awful lot of boxes when you break everything down. A must have and we simply must go all out in securing him.

What a signing he would be. Top top drawer.

On a side note.... I've already kind of told my lad we are defo signing him and he will get another shirt with his name on. So I really need this to come off ffs.

Everton are close to signing Dynamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko, after making a bid for the attacker, sources have told ESPN FC.

Yarmolenko had been linked with a move to Stoke this summer, while Tottenham are long-term admirers of the player, but Everton are looking to steal a march on their rivals by making a bid in the region of £15 million.

Yarmolenko impressed Everton boss Roberto Martinez during last season's Europa League encounter between the two sides and he sees the player as a key addition to his attacking plans.

The 25-year-old had the most assists in the Europa League last season for Dynamo Kiev and is regarded as one of the best attackers in Europe.

Yarmolenko has recently indicated he had no plans to extend his contract at Kiev with his current deal having just a year to run on it.

Kiev are reluctant to lose their prize asset, but know the offer is too good to turn down as he could potentially leave on a free transfer next summer.

Everton are confident of securing the move for Yarmolenko as talks are at an advanced stage between both clubs.

The arrival of the Ukraine international would come as a welcome boost to Everton supporters who have been concerned about the lack of transfer activity at Goodison Park this summer and his signing would be a major sign of intent from Martinez's side.
