I don't know why I'm even indulging this conversation, since there's no reason to believe Stones will be sold.

The buyer we need to come in to buy this club out and kick us on to the next level wont baulk at the prospect of covering a £48M debt. But buyers who come in with the belief they can make Everton pay off for them would see a debt free club as a bigger attraction if they have to pay through the nose for the Kenwright Gang's shares.

Really don't understand this. They are simply bidding for a player and everyone of them has a value to "their" club. If it's met and the player agrees then off he goes. Ronaldo, Torres, Suarez, Bale, Costa, Sterling, the curly haired gimp from Chelsea themselves whose name escapes me
