From what I here about the lad from people that know him money means absolutely nothing to the lad, he's already got enough to live the life he wants to until the day he dies with the contract he's on at Everton. It's not the club he dislikes it's the city lifestyle and the pace of life, he lives in a village over looking the Moors he walks his dogs every day on the old Pennine trail he's happy with life he's got everything he could wish for

Swooning here.

If, and I am not casting any doubt upon what you've said, all of this is 100% true, then Everton should offer him a ten-year deal, and we should all bombard our MPs demanding he is immediately given a knighthood, freedom of the city and a free dog license for life.

Iirc you also mentioned that his partner is in her last year at a Northern university as well, meaning if he moved to
Chelsea there would be a lot more travelling to maintain the relationship.

So now we just need to worry about Utd and City high money bids to tempt the board ;)

Law degree to boot isnt it? Deffo something solid, not some wishy washy course.

think it is pretty clear he doesn't want freedom of any city. we need to offer him the use of a barge so he can get home down the canals

You've got to respect that if that's the way it is.
He's our Nolito.

One of the manc teams then maybe in the future, if it makes career sense. Delighted if he never goes to Chelsea, it would be the most painful club to see him play for and he's so at odds with the club and Mourinho in terms of personality.

Can really imagine him watching this whole saga with the medical staff play out and thinking '...thanks but no thanks.'
