Couldn't believe the way they spoke about the Stones situation on MOTD, article on the BBC about it this morning too. Never remember such a one sided discussion about a players future, as others have pointed out no one seemed to be ramming Sterling down Citys throat with such enthusiasm. Shearer would not be behaving like this if Stones was at Newcastle either the snide.

He didn't appear to be a player who looked like he was looking for a move either yesterday or last Sunday, certainly not in the way Lescott basically gibbed us all off publicly at Goodison against Arsenal.

There's been none of that from him.

I agree that we saw no Lescott like tantrums but to me he did not look fully focused on his game and IMO was responsible for both goals ( missed header and not staying on his feet ).

If his head has been turned we may have to sell at the best price now.

Just seen the MOTD 'analysis' about Mr John Stones.
I pay a BBC license for this drivel. Think that is my direct debit getting stopped, and when I am pulled up over it I will point to this disgusting piece of broadcasting. Football truely is over, replaced by tyrants and their toys.

thanks but realised I phrased that badly. meant you can't comment on articles directly. But I defintiley think complaints should be going in. maybe it is time for a concerted fans action. not sure exactly on a clear agenda but it does sicken me that the opinions we hear a lot of the time could be paid for

No worries OB. I knew you meant comment on them directly. I CBA complaining myself as I'd make it clear in the compliant that I want the licence fee done away with altogether.......So it's not as if they'd take loads of notice of me.

It'd be great if Jags came out and said something along the lines of:

"Learn off Terry?? Remind me who's the current starting centre back for England?"

All he'd learn off Terry is how to say words that rhyme with bigger and how to hound the referee in to making decisions in your favour.

If it came to it, I'd rather see him at United anyway.
