John Stones transfer saga

No, they got booed as the exited the field for half time, we got a better 2nd half performance. The national media never ever criticise anyone board or manager. Maybe things like our brilliant match going fans booing will wake the world up and let everyone know that we ain't happy the Blue bill owns us an coz he's blue and that's a good thing and on the same note I hope it makes them realise that their is a growing concern that Martinez is nowhere near good enough, which hopefully will dispel the myth that we are all happy as we play the beautiful game the right way. Whatever that is.
We did today, just don't think it often works - each to his own

the fans who go the game (which I don't and easily could)

If you don't mind me asking, assuming finances are not the reason (understandable if so, and I applogise for asking if so) why do you not go given you express passionate opinions about the blues?

Booing is an option to this who want to tell whoever will listen that all is not right, seasons before last I went to Aston villa at home and the first half was much worse than today, we didn't string 2 passes together Barkley got hooked at HT and the fans didn't boo at HT, the booing today was not just a reflection on today's performance I promise you that.

I have been in my lifetime a season ticket holder 6 times, i have gone through a couple of them seasons where I went to around 15 always out of 19 I'm currently 31 so that sort of record won't come close to most, although I was at college for 6 years where I couldn't afford it and only went sporadically, as a kid I went all the time with my dad, I would estimate since about 93 I have been to over 225 home games and 60-70 away games. My absolute passion in life (outside of my daughter and next week my soon to be born son) is Everton, I want nothing but the best for them, I have 0 faith in Martinez, he is a walking cliché and I will not enter Goodison park until he is gone, the same goes for Lukaku who stood by and let his agent dismiss/slag the love of my life so he can get to #swearban too. I don't expect the best, I do expect it to be the aim. I'm really worried, 10 games in I'll come back to you.

Fair enough, I appreciate your honesty although I do not understand not going to the match just because of the manager, especially when you have previously been a dedicated fan.

Good luck with the birth of your son.

I can understand it totally - if you have no hope of us doing anything but surviving, hate every minute of the games and going home feeling majorly annoyed that you've parted with your money each week I don't see why passion is a good enough reason to carry on going.

Spending such ridiculous money on something you don't enjoy or get any pleasure out of is mental. You're sacrificing something else in life, probably multiple things.

This is why I'm not going this season when I also could, both financially and distance wise. I don't necessarily agree with the manager thing, but it's more about modern football. I'll be going to the Derby and the cup games, plus the odd day out with my dad and uncle where the football is secondary

The thing that frustrates me about you is you never wanted him here and have been looking for a reason to moan about Martinez since the day he arrived.

is it that that frustrates you or on the off chance I may have been right? We are all Evertonians and I respect your POV, please don't criticise mine when the overall answer is yet to be proven. I'm of the opinion he isn't anywhere near an Everton manager, you're desperate for him to succeed. Let's hope you're right. #nonamecalling

I'm desperate for Everton to succeed. Martinez showed us in season 1 what it actually feels like to have hope unlike his predecessor.

I have no problem that you have your opinion...that said I wish you would have stuck to your guns and posted the same stuff when we were doing well.

I wouldn't worry about it mate.

There's a couple of certain posters on here who actually are desperate for Everton to be awful so that when decent posters like yourself raise genuine concerns about the future of our club under Martinez they can play their little game of "tag" and slander the character of those posters by suggesting they are part of some conspiracy. Something which David Icke would walk away from for being the ramblings of paranoid madmen.

I'm assuming that mention wasn't for me? I'm not desperate for us to be poor, unfortunately under Martihez we will continue to be.

I know you want the best for Everton mate, as I and most people do.

It's just the small but vocal minority on here who want us to do badly so they can troll people who rightfully show concern for our club.

I did mate, check back. My post were more often than not about our over reliance on 'Worldy' goals. I'm thinking Barkley Norwich, Baines West Ham, Coleman Southampton & Swansea. Barkley Swansea, Mirallas Villa and many more. I'd rather you call me a troll (like the other day) then inconsistent. Never wanted him, his first season was a surprise, last was my expectation thus will be awful with him in charge.

Maybe so...I only checked your posting history in the Martinez thread....and you disappeared from there for a long time.
