@GoatJR has tried to install the app on his Kindle Fire HD7 without any success.

Kindle's have their own O/S, based on Android v4 something or other. Presumably you wouldn't expect it work ?

If anyone reading this has the app up and running on said Kindle please pipe up.

hahaha..I love my Nokia Pureview 808 for the camera and all it does. The sad thing is I carry an ipod touch around to do the daily "real world" tasks.
I can't let go.

What did you move to? Android or Symbian. I have no ideas where to go after Symbian.

Android mate.

To be honest I just discounted iPhone's on the basis that I didn't want to become an Apple geek and then went for a slightly out of date Samsung which was a sensible physical size with a vaguely decent 8M camera. Being a simple soul, that's all I needed.

The app looks good on it, though, between you and me, I don't use it
