it's laughable how benteke scoring a goal on his debut has been met with a full BBC article and now a video link on the BBC sportsday updates.

meanwhile ferguson's testimonial is headlined "rooney - once a blue?". pretty sure everytime one of theirs has a testimonial they have a 5 story article on BBC.

Might see Liverpool changing their style for the fourth time in four years now, a few long balls up to Benteke.

Come on. They have won the bestest of the best ever 'pre-season goal trophy'. That will sit nicely with the 'top at Christmas' trophy, the 'top at Easter' trophy and the 'bargain of the century (Balotelli)' trophy. Of course, they will not outshine the Championship play off trophy won by Mr Clever.
