Echo are reporting Lescott has put in a written transfer request today - that Moyes immediately rejected.

Very disappointed about that really. Especially how we treated him on Friday.

Don't think city will up their bid really. i mean if you look at it, they've got toure, kompany(injured but their second best player last season), onuoha (public favourite and big prospect) and ex-captain dunne for central defence already. add to that richards as many view zabaleta as a better right back, then theyve got 5 potential CB's, and though they may buy lescott as a left back, then they'll probably have wayne bridge bitching about how he's back to second choice. so i kindof doubt he'll still go, another bid might come in but it wont nearly be enough and man city wont try to convince moyes with a higher off i dont think, he's just not a necessity to them

Doesn't seem to be an issue with Citeh. Have you seen how many strikers they've got?

fair point. bellamy and santa cruz will barely be playing, robinho probably on the left wing though so they can play three at a time. all the others well theyre f*cked arent they, might as well look elsewhere

Well, as they say, no smoke without fire.

Can't really say I hold it against the lad, considering he'll double his wages and the level of incompetence we have shown improving our own squad this summer.

He's gone. End of.

You have to ask why has it come to this? 10 years of collective failure on the part of Kenwright to find us a new stadium means we have been falling further and further behind in the eyes of any potential investor. As much as Moyes can overachieve on the pitch, the moneymen know that the club is one resignation away from falling further into the abyss.

If he doesn't go now, he'll leave in january or next summer, might as well cash in now. I expected him to hand in the reques much earlier so Moyes would have a decent chance to replace him.

Bye bye Joleon, I hope City get relegated.

Wenger is licking his lips - the price of Senderos just went up by a couple of mil.

Serves us right for fcking around for so long on that one.

This has been an awful summer, and we find ourselves in a much worse position than last year. How Moyes believes we are in better shape now than this time last year is beyond me. We should be getting really excited about the start of the season but i am feeling a little more than concerned as the days pass.

I can't get me head round everton at times.
Right up until now, I thought it was a blag by the press and then 4 days before the season it turns out to be true !

Un fcukin believable !

MOYES OUT.

Stubbs will have to pull on his boots soon.....After last year I too was feeling a tad optimistic , but now it is same ol same old..... We desperatly need at least 2 defenders....

i reckon moyes has already decided to sell him but doesn't wanna look like the villian so he's made him hand it in. he'll get his loyalty money from city with the bump in his wages. this summer gets worse, i don't even wanna go the arsenal game on saturday now.
what the hell is going on?

considering the decent reception he got against malaga, must of shown him how much the fans rate him and want him at the club, but now i think thats wot all the fans were waiting for, a transfer request off him as anyone who puts one in doesnt want to be there and the fans will turn immediatley as we should.

so if he doesnt want to be here then [Poor language removed] off
