I'd laugh myself silly if we managed to pull that off. Can't see Celtic playing ball for such a low cash figure though.

He's not good enough to play in a top-half Premier League side, we've seen enough of him to know that. If he stays it will only be as a squad player and to be honest there are better options out there we could bring in as squad players anyway.

We brought him back from Russia and it hasn't worked out, no big loss. Send him back to Celtic, it would suit everyone. We make a cosy little profit after getting him for nothing, Celtic get their maverick back and he can look like Messi again playing against the bog-standard defenders in the SPL.

I'd have him in my 5 a side team. Got nice tricks but hasn't shown enough or maybe not got enough settled play time. Anyhoo, we've supposedly got bids in for players levels above him so it's so long Aids. Go tear up the woeful Highlands Irn Bru "league"

How can anyone have a opinion on van dijk? When he is only being tested in the SPL? just give Celtic the £1million to take mcgeady an be done with it.

From 30 seconds of research Van Dijk hasn't kicked a ball for Holland and they are 3rd in their Euro group and have the likes of Ron Vlaar ad their CB, an he as of today is s free agent. Van Dijk is a flavour of the month nobody, never mind giving a nothing club like Celtic 5million for him.

they were also 3rd in the WC last year, but like you said he hasn't played for them so the national team is pretty irrelvant
