The professional cynic in me says that everyone remembers the ones they get right, but forget about the ones they get wrong.
If they're right more than 40% of the time then I'd say they're either sourced in some way or are careful about what they guess at.

Anyway, I'd be happy with Dann. We've not had anyone consistently decent at getting his head to the ball at set pieces since Cahill was playing regularly.

Its a pretty bold statement though as norrmally its 'we have bid' or 'we are close'.

To be fair whoever runs that account was banging on about Lukaku definitely signing since the end of his loan. That's the only deal I remember him talking about.

Some very, VERY knowledgable people in football rate Van Dijk highly. He's only been at Celtic for as long as he has as they are desperate not to lose him.

Everyone from the SPL is gamble. Kris Commons was the best player by a mile in the SPL and if I remember rightly he couldn't even cut the mustard at Derby. In the Championship. So whilst Van Dijk is probably a good player, Dann is a much safer option with experience of playing in the premier league, which is about 50 times harder than the SPL.
