I think they'll be about the same. I think it will come down to whether we get Dann or not but even if we don't I think we'll go with someone else other than Van Dijk.

Stones won't be off if we have a good season. Big season coming up but there's no reason we can't hold on to our young stars for a few years.

We aren't a club that's soft in the market.

Wish we'd bought Reid. There's not that many Evertonians in NZ and he would have definitely raised the Everton profile in Aotearoa. And, as a bonus, he's a damned good defender

You'd get 4 or 5 years out of Scott Dann, £8m is worth the investment. Just a new age Distin. You need players like him, solid if unspectacular who aren't afraid to do the dirty work. More importantly, the bloke that actually watches him every week rates him @Alan Whittle and that's enough for me.

Henen has been reported defo. Still not signed but Everton have agreed to pay the pre set transfer fee. Easy money for Olympiakos and the agent like.
