Robles should be put in and get Heaton as his back up.. !!
Robles will get a few games in the preseason friendlies, people will get another chance to see his jargness.

Agreed. And physically more imposing as well as I have stated earlier.I want Howard gone, but id want his replacement to be better than Tom Heaton.
Did well when given his chance. Thought was silly putting Howard straight back in after his injury. Robles did well and should of been left in until he messed up ...bad call by Roberto I thoughtRobles will get a few games in the preseason friendlies, people will get another chance to see his jargness.
Keeper is a very important part of the team and although were not linked with anyone else i would suggest we should be looking at players in our core group age range of 19-26.
Additionally id say this type of signing should be a big money signing which as much as possible 'guarantees' us points like De Gea and beforehand Schmeical have done for UTD.
Yeah, and we get to see Howard's all season again.Robles will get a few games in the preseason friendlies, people will get another chance to see his jargness.
Also given the age of what we have do we really need another kid?Gomez does look a good prospect but I've only ever seen him play at RCB or right back, we have Jags, Stones and Browning already for that side so as good as he potentially could be he's not what we need at the mo.
Yeah, and we get to see Howard's all season again.
Great post. I totally agree. Our keepers alone must have cost us a good 10-15 points last season.Great strikers win you games. Great keepers win you titles/trophies, especially in this league where commanding the area is important.
The season we finished 4th Martyn was magnificent. Southall the last trophy winning keeper.

I think investing good money in a top keeper may have to wait until next Summer though as there are too many needs to address with the outfield this Summer unfortunately.
assume the independent is more reliable??
Everton have made inquiries about Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton, with Tim Howard's future at Goodison Park now unclear.
Howard’s ex-wife’s return to the United States with the couple’s children has created the uncertainty about the 36-year-old’s intentions and the quality of Heaton’s performances in Burnley’s relegation season are thought to have impressed Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
Howard has always been clear about the significance of his family, taking a year away international football last August to spend more time with his children and it is unclear whether he will now look to a future beyond Merseyside. Heaton has two years left to run on his contract at Turf Moor.

Just splashed out £94 quid on the keeper kit as Martinez said there won't be any change in keepers. They best offer me a replacement if he does go !!
