If he won't sign and agree to be loaned out to a Prem club for next season, then we're best getting rid.

Everyone can see he's the future, but he's not the present as he has Baines in front of him.

If he wants to go to a smaller club like Swansea or Bournemouth to get first team footy, that's up to him. He could re-sign with us and go there on loan.

If he goes to somewhere like Bournemouth permanently and they struggle next season and get relegated, then he'll have obviously made a mistake.

I agree but age wise it would have been nice to keep a 16 year old we paid a million for at the age of 16 who is a under 21 left back pity and sad it's panned out this way!
He may flop, but my gut feeling he will make the grade maybe!
agree but it is very hard to keep players who are on the bench happy - there are rumours that Chelsea's 2nd choice left back Filippe Luis is looking to move on due to his lack of game time so what hope have we with our 3rd choice one?

Faced with a choice of letting one of Baines, Oviedo or Garbutt go which would you choose?

Big shame cos we can all see he'd be an able deputy/ successor to Baines. But usurper... no.

So it's up to him - but doesn't look like there's anyone to blame if he goes and does well somewhere else. The Man Citys of this world would of course pay him to stay on the bench, but we're not one and we have Oviedo who is ready at this stage to be an able cover for us, and now.

as if we're struggling for left backs, like.
Look at you, adopting our colloquialisms you little cutey pie.

The one thing I will miss about Garbutt will be his corners/dead balls.

The inability to kick a ball high enough and hard enough past a bloke who is
standing in front of you bewilders me. You would think that RM would have his millionaire players practicing for hours as it is so important.

Ossie had a great chance toput in a dangerous free kick in the second half. Up trundle the centre-backs and he kicks it at the first white shirt standing in front!!

Oviedo then baines then garbutt.

has 10 years in him.

dont think bournemouth will get relegated next season they play better attractive attacking football more than half the teams in the prem currently do.

Fair enough we'll agree to disagree

But personally don't recall seening Oviedo have a bad game for us and think he is generally excellent - even this year when coming back from injury and a long layoff De Gea needed to make a superb save to stop him scoring. Not even going to comment on selling Baines before Garbutt ;)
