We won't improve next season imo

We will sign meh players to go alongside the meh players we have, I also expect a big name to leave, My guess would be Stones or Coleman

1st time in Europe and did okay. Played some tough teams and got results until the wheels fell off.

League form suffered. Too many key players injured and or past it. Lacked form on the back of a poor World Cup for key players.

Just been a tough season and the biggest, more gruelling one Martinez has had. This was a major step up for him.

He'll lick his wounds, scout some players, see who and what worked and didn't. Different side next season.

Personally think he'll turn it around. I like his signings and the fact he's blooded probably more youth players in two seasons than Moyes did in 10, shows signs of someone looking forward.

Appreciate that I have changed my view on this, but if the right replacement was available I would say good bye now without hesitation.

The problem though who is the "right" replacement - we have to be realistic in terms of who we might attract and would the right candidate accept the inevitable limitations of the existing Board?

If it was a replacement of similar stature to Martinez I would prefer to keep him on the basis of better the devil you know... However if an upgrade could be tempted to join us then I'd go for it.

An offer for Quique Flores would be interesting.....

I have said many times that Martinez is a snake oil salesman, a bullsh1te merchant. Him and Sir John Kirwan, (coach of the Auckland Blues rugby team I also support) are peas out of the same 'Emperor has no clothes' pod.

We limped to 11th below teams we shouldn't be below. I don't think he should still be here, Martinez should find himself incredibly lucky to still be in charge of this great club because I don't think he's up to it.

Only in this industry would such under performance be tolerated. Even when we had no fear of relegation the shambolic performances with no pressure on speak volumes about his tenure ship. He can't get the players to play for him, they look disinterested.

Sorry but he should have gone in January, what happened last year does not buy him a get out of jail card. Not good enough by a long stretch.

if we lose 3 of the first 4 games of the new season like we have just done at the end of this one he may not last until the end of September. Which is closer to the summer than Christmas so voted for now, but really what I mean is that if we have a poor start to the season it should be then.

Out of the available options i would give him to christmas but if after 3 months we were in the bottom 6 playing the dreary football i would want him gone.
Massive summer for him because the squad is looking slow and old.
Hope he see's sense over Howard,Kone and Barry as well.

Got a lot to prove next season.

Needs to sign a playmaker.
Needs to stop playing combos of players that don't work in the 3 behind lukaku.
Needs to know that weak teams don't need two defensive midfielders guarding their Championship level midfield.
Needs to keep hold of our squad's core as there's enough rebuilding to be done without losing needed players.

Christmas, if we've played well and don't resemble yesterday's team in style then league position can be mid table. If we're still monotonous safe balls constantly and getting bummed by the likes of Stoke(giggle) then he can do one back to the Costa Del Wool from whence he came.
