72 points and a Europa League place is not a redeeming quality?

Liverpool nearly won the league and ripped most teams new arse hole last season does that make Rodgers a good manager?

Last season is the only 1 season Martinez's managerial career in the top half of the table. If that doesn't scare alot of evertonians I don't know what will tbh. Under this board we are literally 1/2 bad managerial appoints away from Aston Villa and the fact we are so poor with a top 6 team should send alarm bells ringing.

you've listed 3 of wigan's best players vs 3 of everton's worst. that's enough to go against your argument in itself. take away martinez's FA Cup as if it didn't happen - fine. both have still won a league 1 appiece and moyes has had a hell of a lot more years as a manager and spent a hell of a lot more money.

You could name me evertons 3 best players when Moyes took over and they will still be absolute dross.

Like I say the manner in which Moyes left will forever see part of our fanbase rewrite history, it's not right but it happens and fans who are currently shitting themselves as much as the rest of us are trying their best to make a strong case for Martinez on the back of an FA Cup win.

I have stated previously that i was unconvinced about RM being our long term manager, well I am now convinced he should not stay. I was really angry about today's result and for me it is down to RM. Where are those Plotters who are campaigning for RM now. The only redeeming feature about today was that Liverpool have conceded 9 goals in 2 games buit that does not take away the feeling of our poor season.

RM should go but he will not because of our board of directors like the bum licking that RM will give them.

I have to stop now, I am so angry and frustrated.

but i watched what he built at swansea as well with my own eyes so i see things differently.

No fight, no imagination, no creativity, nothing. That's not the Everton I've watched in the past. Even poor EFC teams would, well, get stuck in. We lost today and I think we only got one yellow card. Yes there was not a lot at stake for us, but a full house at Goodison and pride of wearing the blue shirt must count for something!! Obviously not.

Well done, it is about time people opened their eyes and sen the rubbish being served up by RM.

He bought Fellaini at United and was an utter failure.
After reading some of your comments and observations I am guessing you are about 11years old.MOYES achieved almost identical stats as van gael in the first half of the season without spending anywhere near as much money. he also had the difficult task of getting shot of some of the has been's at UTD. As for when he left he did nothing wrong, it was his job to improve UTD. if that meant buying EFC player's, that's life

like i said earlier, why should they be paid this week's wages when they really couldn't be arsed to do their work properly.

...then i think i'm a bit of a hypocrit saying that so should probably keep my mouth shut.

I am beginning to get this gnawing feeling we are sleepwalking toward a major crisis in the autumn and early winter.

I'm a little disturbed that Everton seemingly agreed to stage an open training session for Spurs at Goodison today, because it appeared at times like they were toying with us.

We showed precious little urgency, precious little desire, precious little control, precious little positive intent and to me, even though it's been a woefully sub par season, today was less than acceptable for Everton Football Club.

The (only) big plusses today were undoubtedly Galloway and Stones.

The booing at half time, full time and when the manager was announced on the lap of appreciation kinda spoke volumes to me that patience is beginning to wear thin.

I've renewed my STs for next season, but as I've said in other threads previously, I honestly think we'll know as early as the end of September if the manager truly has the wherewithal to bring back the level of performance of last season and restore faith in his tenure.

Did they boo him, Block?

I had a place to be so wasn't able to stay and I bolted once the whistle went.
