i'm not totally convinced oviedo is ahead of him, and he shouldn't be either, if a dreadful aging right back got picked ahead of him at left back while there is an offer on the table, his mind will have been made up there and then

....by the way, perhaps Hibbert was picked because Garbutt had told the club he wasn't signing a contract. Entirely possible and understandable.

no it's not, he could have told the club he would be joining isis at the end of the season and he should still be picked over hibbert

.....ok, we'll have to disagree. You think if he'd played ahead of Hibbert he would've pledged another 5 years to the club, I don't but I might be wrong.

He's a right scab that lad. We're well shut of him. Hopefully we get a fair tribunal fee.

Everything was laid on for him by a manager who gave him his big break and he's basically spat in the clubs face.

See yer, haircut. Your loss. Enjoy obscurity.

He can wait for another two years but he chooses not to. Gosling mk2 in making.

No other left backs were fit. Also a kid playing 2 games in short time frame probably played a part.

If martinez really didnt rate him then he would have kept hibbert in for both games

....mmmm, if that was the case I'm sure he would've rested more valuable players than a left back.
