That's a bit unfair. What have we got if not the right to protest and demonstrate?

To be clear, I am absolutely not suggesting people don't have the right to protest (in all honesty, I'm struggling to see how you came to that conclusion from my post...) I am simply saying the idea of protesting and suggesting a government is illegitimate 2 days after a decisive election victory is both hilarious and a bit sad.

Think Danny Alexander has said he's going to spill the beans.
Clegg came out with a few things that they'd blocked in the run up to the election.

Suppose Alexander's got nothing else to do like.

One thing I did think of though, aren't cabinet documents, letters etc covered by the official secrets act or something ? and only released into the public domain after many years ?
Which makes me think that the letter than Cameron hiked around the country i.e. "There's no Money" may be something that he wasn't legally allowed to show ?

You mean the one that was scribbled out by some minion and photo-copied 30 mins before showtime?

It wasn't a proper document or anything. When government changes, a brief note of how finances are is passed on to the new government, along side lots of other information, obviously. The parading of that note was ridiculous, it was clearly a joke from one politician to another.

He carries it around with him at all times apparently, which means he either actually goes to the effort if changing it from pocket to pocket every time he gets dressed, or he's been wearing the same jacket for 5 years.

If that letter is the original, I promise to eat whatever is left of Paddy Ashdown's hat.

Supposedly the "No money note" is something that is left by every outgoing politician in charge of that department, it's a joke they say.
