This is a true story told me by my cousin in Ireland.

Or it may be apocryphal. But it deserves to be true :)

My cousin and his chum went fishing on a river flowing through the land of Lord sommat or other.

They were poaching and a bailiff approached them and told them to hop it.....they were trespassing on private property.

The chum asked how come the property was "private" and the bailiff said Milord owns it.

When asked how Milord came to own the land the bailiff said "his ancestors fought for it and won the fight".

To which my cousin's mate replied "well go fetch him here and I will fight him for it now......".....:whip:

.....er......I'll get me coat.......:(

Sounds fair enough, but it doesn't work that way. Probably just as well.

Can @Woolly Blue vault this?

The NHS is not, and will not be privatised.

It will be privatised piecemeal, as seen with Circle Health. It's a matter of time - they've got unfunded spending and cuts to make; the NHS is an ideological goldmine for them to exploit, and we all know this Thatcher Lite regime has no problem exploiting ideology.

Afford what? Apart from trade I see no other reason to stay in. And I do believe we'd be able to get the trade deal without being in the EU because we import more than we export.

Its all about the financial institutions using the UK as a gateway to the Eurozone. We were perfectly placed, with our membership of the EU, the transport infrastructure, the language and our relationship with the US. Why throw away one of the biggest advantages we have?
