Well, her time at the State Department has shown she's just as much of a criminally insane and irresponsible war-hawk [Poor language removed] as any of her male counterparts. "We came, we saw, he died, hur hur hur". Wonder when she's going to announce Bibi Netanyahu as her running-mate?

Isn't Jeb Bush running for POTUS too? How is Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama-Clinton/Bush in any way a healthy or functional democracy? It's a mafia state, that's what it is.

Strategically, this isn't a smart move on the part of the Democrats. She is a lightning rod for two reasons: 1) she's a Clinton; 2) she's a woman. This latter might sound harsh but I don't think the general electorate (i.e., the average American) is ready for a woman president. And you might counter with "well, perhaps they weren't ready for a black man, but look at Obama" to which I would counter with "see my point #1". Folks with even marginal anti-Democrat tendencies or undecided voters with slight Libertarian leanings will not be on her side. And there is a huge amount of sexism in the USA, the same way there is a huge amount of racism. Obama won the presidency with a large percentage of youth voters--many of them were first-time voters, with unmarried women making up the largest percentage of first-time voters. I'm not so sure Hilary will galvanize that same demographic. Overall, doesn't seem smart on the part of the DNC.

And to be clear, I would easily vote for Hillary and have no problem with a woman as president. But more important to me is keeping tea-party and/or Republican folks out of office, with whom I profoundly disagree (the latter is a huge understatement). And strategically I'm not so sure Hillary is the right person to do this.

I will happily eat crow--gleeful mouthfuls of it--if she is elected in 2016.

It's like when you're vaulted with a post you wrote that turned out to be utter crap. Like the Kopites who were about to winder leeeegue last season. That's eating crow. Not a delicacy. Predicting disaster and being proved wrong is happily eating crow.

We will see Lizzie Warren before this is done. Hillary is past her sell-by date. The only hope for the Democrats in this cycle is the triumph of identity politics. Hence, they will nominate a woman and declare that the Republican war on women continues. Like those campus rapes at UVA.

That kind of thing. She's not just a woman, she can be our first Native American president.
