Said near the start of this thread I hoped he wouldn't play double figures for us. gutted he has. Leon Osman would've done better at centre half tonight
 

Not good enough, too slow, ponderous and struggles against anybody better than mediocre, not the sort of player we need to be wasting wages on. Agree with the sentiment that a vet would have put him down. Martinez needs to draw a line in the sand a make sure he never wears the royal blue again. I would sooner, a kid in the team giving it all effort making the mistakes and learning, than this old pony trotting out every so often ambling around looking hald arsed and looking atrocious.

Nope.

Duffy left because he wanted first team football. Week in week out.

We could not offer him that as Stones and Jags play week in week out when available.

Duffy didn't want to be 3rd choice. Alcaraz is happy to be.

What must Jagielka think playing alongside that clown tonight when Phil has given his all. Players must seriously lose confidence in Martinez after playing Alcaraz for 90 minutes in our biggest match.
