So a new poll saying the same exact stuff after every Prem game but no new one after Europa League games then? Huh. Odd. Coincidence I'm sure.

Delighted for him last night. There were people there last night who had turned up to kick off at the first sight of danger. Fair enough we were useless for 30/35 minutes but once we got the ball down and played.

Also, how can anyone say the fans and crowd helped last night ? It was horrible and poisonous for a good portion of the first half. Nobody would want to play for the fans acting like that last night. The Gaffer got into them at half time and changed it. He's the reason. There was a swagger about them second half not seen since last season.
Maybe the crowd reaction to what they'd been witnessing for 20 minutes or so convinced the players to make their own decisions to change the way they were playing.

Ive always wondered if players do that themselves, or why wouldnt they. Id rather gety bollocked for not playing the my manager wants than to get relegated.

No he didn't say that. He said that the manager or assistant is responsible to say who goes where and he didn't know who it was who ordered it tonight...because he wasnt playing presumably.

*sigh*

What else do you need Dave, it was or is RM's decision, no getting away from that. NOw ask why was garbutt not covering the near post, almost certainly if that had been so the goal could have been prevented. Now ask your self how is it many folk have highlighted in set pieces Howard getting caught out at the near post. You are at time so blind to the obvious and refuse to acknowledge any short comings of RM.

Haha. I hate the bloody polls -- I just thought it was funny nobody felt the need to check in after a win.

I really doubt people's opinions would change drastically enough to warrant another poll, just like they didn't change after either Young Boys game

He's a young manager who has plenty to learn. The question mark is whether he's just too stubborn to actually learn. He has all the basics in place to be a top manager - but if he's not prepared to understand that his way isn't always the best way then he's doomed to mediocrity in the long run.

Sadly I think we can guess how we will start against Newcastle.
