My apologies mate. I am fully aware that Putin's troops are operating in the Ukraine, but there's plenty on here who will insist he isn't involved.

Very true.

I was a frequent visitor to Northern Ireland all during the Troubles and there were parts of it you wiuldn't know there was owt happening five miles up the road.

Bloody right I'd be scared mate. Putin could roll 600 tanks into Kiev in 48 hours if he felt like it, and I mean absolutely no slur on the people of the Ukraine when I say that. Nobody other than the Ukrainians themselves are standing up to Putin, and he's got the resources to escalate the whole thing very quickly. I admire your bravery, and I apologise for not sharing it.
