I'
It won't turn toxic on the basis of us going behind as such.

If we have been giving it a right good go, creating chances, having shots, playing quicker etc. , then I think the crowd will try and roar them back into the game happen we conceded a goal.

What will turn it toxic, IMO, is if after watching an hour of this infernal philosphyball the Barcodes should score.

That would signal the end of what remains of the love Goodison feels for Bobby.

This is all down to him now.

Sommat has to change and he is the only guy can make that happen.
I'd assumed the togger would be turgid, it has been all season. I agree about the having a go bit, it's the only way they'll get the crowd behind them from here on in.

If I was Bill I would be asking myself now do I really want to roll the dice and see Bobby potentially get thrown under the bus at home to the barcodes. It would be a horrible way to exit the club and just maybe the best thing would be to save Bobby from that and let him walk away now with some dignity in place.

It does beggar belief. Bet he giving the Wigan fans in their last season the same old guff.

What really bothers me with all of this is no accountability of what is happening. Not once this season have i heard him say to the media (and more importantly fans) i messed this up. He is literally carrying on in the same belief that playing the same way will turn things around despite it not working the game before.

This is why ther fans are hostile now!

It means that quite clearly we are not a hire and fire type of organisation.

The Board can be criticised quite rightly over many topics however one area they have excelled in is their loyalty to their manager and the desire to build long term regardless (or perhaps because) of financial constraints.
Why on earth should loyalty come into play? It's not a school playground friendship we're talking about here.

I wouldn't be too worried about players wanting to move so long as we stay up.

There is not one player in that squad who would get a starting position in a better team than we are now.

They would be refuced to sitting on the be nch st the likes of Spurs or Arsenal and getting a start in the C1 Cup.
I can see United interested in Coleman and/or Stones. Arsenal may go for McCarthy as they really lack decent def mids.

And Mirallas is a 100% goner.
