Fair enough. Look at it in the cold light of day tomorrow.

At which point will you have had it with him though? I mean, how long should we give?
I'd stick with him until such a point that we were within three points of the drop with half a dozen of games left. I realise though that the Newscastle game will represent the final straw for many.

We will make a huge error if we dont retain Martinez this season. If he does get through, which I still expect, btw, then we'll be much stronger for this experience next season.

calm down...a win next match and the despair is over. Will be 9 points clear. Nothing has changed after today.
People are wondering how we are going to get 40 points not pick up the odd 3, and rightly so. I remember when we got to 24 points which was about 4 months ago. We now have 28.

When a new manager comes in there is normally a honeymoon period when they pick up a few points. We could do with that right now!

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and ev'ry highway
And more, much more than this, I blew it my way

Kenwright will make the football decisions.

I'd expect no movement until after the result of the Newcastle game. None. In fact we probably will get a boost off the Kiev first leg and the presure will lift again.

Davek your opinion is irrelevant cause your pro Martinez

Its awful, you don't need coaching badges to see how clueless we are. There's a complete lack of organization, we're not fit enough, we can't even defend a throw in. We're poor right down the spine of the team. The keeper, the centre back and the centre forward who he won't drop cause he paid an astonishingly ridiculous 28 million for and has to justify it. There's no pattern to our formation, we're too narrow so the central players have to go wide all the time. I've watched kids teams that are coached better.

I don't think we'll go down because thankfully QPR, Villa, Burnley and Leicester are so bad. I hope they stay this woeful though! But I don't think he can turn this around... not this season or during the summer for next season. Just have no confidence in him when it gets tough, he has adapted to how every single team has played against us this season in the league. It's the same monotonous predictable play and tactics and everyone has his number.

You can change the tempo of your play, the 'style' of football, the formation on the fly in games and during training but he just hasn't. Hell Garbutt's comments after the Newcastle match about us not practising with 3 at the back just shows how naive he is, and his preparation for the matches and this season in general after pre-season has been a joke.

He seems like a nice guy, but he's just not ruthless which you have to be when you have players playing so badly (Howard, Barry, Naismith to name a few) and in a relegation battle. That character he always talks about the players having (which they don't acutally have) he really lacks.

Last season was incredible, I'm young but I've enver seen Everton play like that apart from on DVDs, this season though is the complete opposite in every aspect of football. It's quite incredible really just how bad things have gone over the course of the summer and this season.
