He's having an absolute mare there's no doubt about it. I can totally understand why people want him sacked, I really can. Regardless of a relegation fight or not, our form has been awful, his constant soundbites are annoying, premier league performances have been shocking, players under performing yet still getting picked. Basically he's done everything wrong a manager could do. The EL is definitely his saving grace and the only time where there seems to be any cohesion and rhythm.

Ive defended him, I will probably continue to truth be told for the simple reason that I find it almost impossible to look at last season and say it was a fluke. But I don't know what's happened or changed but if he does lose his job well it will be his own fault. A run of 2 wins in 20 is absolutely appalling tbh. I really don't know, Wednesday is a massive game isn't it.

I understand the last season argument. I really like the bloke and want him to succeed as he seems to get the history of the club.

The argument of last season fails for me as he has changed a winning formula. We play slow, with no width, no tempo and delay substitutions. The total opposite to last season.

If we were playing the same as last year and just having one of those seasons, fair enough, but it's like chalk and cheese.

I know what you mean mate, I think all the issues you mention are because of players AND manager being totally out of form. Whose job is that to sort out? Well the players need to take responsibility but see unable to so then the manager has to show some guidance and unfortunately we look rudderless atm. I really want him to change it around, how long is too long before u turn around and say enough is enough? I can't answer that myself, a couple if wins on the bounce would do us the world of good but I've been saying that for bloody ages now lol

in the last 35 domestic games weve won 6 games (including 3 cup games and last 5 of last year when rot started) virtually 1 every 6 games. Absolutley shocking. The fact we have better players than our position suggests shows bad management. Its virtually criminal we are were we are. I enjoyed the Villa and Burnley game this season and thats it, not one other performance has been good. We are the most boring predictive team to watch with no heart or fight. There are teams above us who have 10x worse sides but show a little bit of fight, a little bit if imagination. Martinez needs to realise goals win games, not passing it around the back 8. When wad the last time we had a midfielder score breaking into the box? Just utterly digusting football this season. 35 million spent in the summer too and not one player improved the first 11. I assume he wont be sacked so this summer is massive for him he

I'd love to know by what magic formula this is all going to turn around at the beginning of next season.

He's not suddenly going to go back to doing things he was doing last season or he would already have done them.

If he is still here as he probably will be, the drab slow build up football will continue.

Wigerton we have become and Wigerton we will stay.

Walter Smith was sacked (correctly) in 2002 with 30points and 9 games remaining. We have 28 points and 11 games remaining. He is rightly under pressure, especially considering the quality in our squad and the amount he had to spend in the summer.

We need 12 PTS from last 10 games to be safe I think we should get it cos we have a great squad but were one of the worst teams in the league. It's sad but we are!!

And we are also the only British team left in the Europa League.

Like many clubs before us, we are finding it difficult to play in the Europa League on Thursday, and then compete in the league on Sunday.

Different personnel, and we start from scratch. That's how we do it.

Think we have to give him the rest of the season and I still think we will be fine, but he needs to get back to basics. If we have a go at sides, quick and direct I am sure we would get results. If not at least we are looking to be positive instead of having loads of possession 30 yards from goal.

Stoke will expect us to play as we have all season, so let's change things up a bit.

We just need a win, any league win to get us a bit of confidence. Stupidly I think we'll beat Stoke!
