It's the same every week that's the issue. Slow possession football with no end product.

He needs to mix it up and change things earlier if it isn't working with early subs. Basically what he did last season.

We look scared to death of making a mistake and only begin to open up when we go a goal down.

I agree with most that we won't go down, but the more we don't win, the pressure will build especially at home and these players aren't used to the fight.

By the way, I think we'll also find it tough getting a point at Stoke too.

...and we still wont need to worry. The relegation spots are already settled. We're 6 points and massive GD away from it.

1 win in 11 in the league

that is all you need to know

over 44 games that equates to 4 wins and 12 points

ROFFLE

1 win in 12 if we don't beat stoke away next
So we've lost 10 in 11 have we? Come on mate we are bad but not that bad.

Bobby has the stoke game for me and if we don't win that I want him sacked asap. As it stands if we stay up I think he should go in the summer.

It's become apparent he doesn't know what he's doing with the squad. We have players to play out wide yet we start with a front three of mirallas Lukaku and Barkley and not one cdm, or the two that we did so well with last season, but 3.

Howard straight back in the team after Joel playing well and our back four looking settled for the first time all season. Howard still between the sticks despite being an utter disgrace the last few games. Fair play he didn't do anything wrong today but this season has proved he's a disaster waiting to happen.

You could excuse Martinez if he was doing the simple things right, like playing players in the best position and putting out your strongest 11. The responsibility would rest with him and the players. The problem is he isn't doing the simple things right, there is no settled best 11 because he keeps moving players around and plonking extra midfielders in to try stop us shipping goals.

I've just completely lost faith in him after today and I don't really know why. Its not like I thought we'd win today anyway, it's just the way we played. Again. It's like watching last week's game against a different team but with the same football and same lack of anything from the majority of our players. It's gone from charming, charismatic Martinez of last season who I loved listening to in interviews to Boring boring bobby spouting the same [Poor language removed] about character and spirit week after week.

By the way, I think we'll also find it tough getting a point at Stoke too.

Spot on.
All about europe. Wouldnt waist a thought for relegation battle.

Glad you can see into the future Dave, you've put my mind at rest.

Calm down that was our routine lose to the Sky 4 away from home 1 win in 12 years away from home. Tbh I think it would save a lot of time effort and money if they just toss a coin when we play the big 4 away from home. Heads we lose tails we draw
