No. I think Everton fans turn on every player in equal measure at some point in the season.

I can only gauge off watching games on telly and threads on here. There's a hate thread for pretty much every player on this forum.

Genuine question, I wonder how much of an influence a minority of the crowd has over the performance of any player, academy or not? It's not like 35,000 are booing a player at Goodison. Surely the negative ones are drowned out?

I never hear or see fans behaving that way...you get the moody yells and can feel the tension when we're not playing well, you can feel Goodison is ready to boil over even from here.

Not really, someone booing or shouting at you telling you you're crap carries further than a bit of applause, if not in terms of decibels, it's going to be what players, especially young players, take off the pitch with them.

I said after the Leicester game there was a lass behind me shouting at Stones who'd come over to the Park End at the end of the game, telling him to f' off clapping us and f' off Everton. About 20 people around me clapped him off the field but I bet it was the lass shouting at him that he remembered that night.

Well the growns were very audible on Sunday like they have been all season and he's clearly losing confidence game by game, I reckon it was only 5 minutes old when I heard a 'f'off Barkley that's F'ing 5hite' when he layed a pass off, yet 2 minutes later Besic did basically the same 5 yard pass and nothing.

It's getting louder and louder as the season falls apart as quick as his confidence and I don't think its a coincidence that his better games have come away from home.
