Tim Howard

I don't blame Howard in the least.

Today's calamities were typical of the way he has played all season.

We all saw it....both matchgoers and TV watchers.

It us no coincidence that our season started to come alive again after he was injured and the previously maligned Joel started breathing confidence into both the fans and the defenders in front of him.

Now we are plunged right back into the doubts we had over the goalkeeping which totally undermined the first half of the season.

But it ain't Tim's fault.

Every bugger and his dog knew how badly he had been playing and how much better we looked when he was out injured. Not too many were surprised at that today.

Every bugger except one.

Roberto Martinez fetched him back straight in for no apparent good reason.....and as such I lay the blame for the two points dropped today at his feet.

Mate, I know where you're coming from and I agree with you to a degree, but my patience with Howard has run out. He did gift Leicester two goals today and very nearly a third, he does not command his area, his distribution is terrible - only an idiot plays a long ball out of his area in the air towards Lennon, the smallest player in the team.

I'll nail my colours to the mast, I do not want to see him play for Everton again. Robles was improving and didn't deserve to be usurped Howard, and yes that was a terrible decision by El Bob.

Howard though is a liability, way past his best and his best has never been good enough.

The Man U games a prime example, we lost 2-1 because of our goalie they won 2-1 because of theirs, a pen save and 2 world class saves came the 3 points of which Howard wouldn't have saved any of the 3

If he was that good why did Fergy sell him 8/9 years ago?

To be fair, De Gea saved a pi55 poor penalty by Baines.i

Bobby has the perfect excuse to drop him and still save relative face by using the young boys game to stick Robles in, he can say he wanted to rest Howard and then just quietly not put Howard back in, he won't though
