Oh pipe down Dave, you declared the season over in September.
It was and is. I think I flagged up the concept of a "fallow season" early on. Dismissed by *some*. :coffee:

Anyway, a top half finish is important - it means there's some tremendous vaulting to be done on that Martinez mask thread.

Andrew, London: Paul Scholes can say what he likes, he's earned the right. But Jermaine Jenas and Kevin Kilbane lecturing Louis Van Gaal on style v results? Please...

some people! wtf makes you have the right to say anything about them andrew?

jesus christ, people get employed as pundits, are they not allowed to have a view unless they've won things. we've all seen how michael owen knows nothing about football, sometimes maybe people shouldn't base things on ability

ivanovic having a crap game again by the sounds of it - he's been so so poor the last 4 or 5 weeks, but has scored a lot of important goals. he's an odd one.

Only if we finish 4th or above, everything else is meaningless.

Second season syndrome. We'll put pressure on 4th spot next season. It'll be valuable experience for Martinez getting through this poor season. It's just a pity we didn't get Davie Weir or Ralf Rangnick though. We'd be on the verge of our second successive title by now.

Real Evertonians wanted Vitor.

The results we want today are Stoke and Newcastle losing (are midtable rivals), and Arsenal and United winning (the Kopites will be fuming and they'll fall well behind when S'ton turn them over tomorrow).
