He didnt have a £3mill release cause, he had 1 year left on his contract and he could've been bought for £3mill when his contract was up.

Sure, we'll have to pay a bit extra but I'm sure we wouldnt be as thick as Citeh and go after players like Kaka and offer £100million. The only reason why clubs take Citeh for as much as they can is because they set their stalls out from the go by throwing silly money about.
