Howard comes back in according to Martinez today. He also said he hasnt made a decision on McCarthy yet as he doesnt want to overload him so early after his injuries. Baines not ruled out but hasnt trained since his fitness test on Saturday.

Therefore i reckon it will be

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Oviedo
McCarthy Besic Barry
Naismith Lukaku Mirrallas

Think he will play McCarthy because it's a 3 man midfield and therefore he wont have as much space on the pitch to cover.

It'll be a drab 0-0 or 1-0 either way I reckon, that's what this system is designed to do it seems - suffocate the oppositions space.

Besic v Fabregas should be interesting!

From Martinez' press conference it sounds as though Howard will come back in, Baines very doubtful as he hasn't trained today and will be assessed. McCarthy also to be assessed as they don't want to give him too much football too soon. I reckon it'll be very similar to the Liverpool line up:

Howard

Coleman Stones Jagielka Oviedo

Besic Barry McCarthy (or Barkley if not fit)

Lukaku Naismith Mirallas

Beat me to it...

Wouldn't actually mind seeing us unchanged from the derby. Would like to see Ross on earlier though, depending on how the game is panning out.

Putting Tim straight back in goal would be a bit of a pisstake tbh and I'd be understandably miffed if I was Joel.

I want;

Joel
Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines
McCarthy Besic Barry
Lennon Barkley Mirallas
Lukaku

but it's probably going to be;

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Stones Oviedo
Besic Barry
Lennon Naismith Mirallas
Lukaku
